Remembering Brendan Fahy Bequette

The Albany Fund for Education is honored to accept donations for a scholarship in memory of Brendan Fahy Bequette, the beloved son of Assemblymember Pat Fahy and B. Wayne Bequette. A 2014 graduate of Albany High School, Brendan was a talented cinematographer and photographer.

“Our beloved son, Brendan Fahy Bequette (age 25), passed away February 28th after a 20 month battle with a highly aggressive mediastinal germ cell cancer. He was the light of our lives and we will miss him for the rest of our lives. We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support.” - Brendan’s mom Patricia Fahy, dad Wayne Bequette, and sister Eileen Bequette.
